Rights Respecting School Award

This term our Eco committee have been working hard with everyone in the school to achieve our Rights Respecting Schools Silver award.

On the 1st November we achieved our goal of silver and the banner for silver is proudly displayed outside the school – you definitely cannot miss it!

The award acknowledges the achievement of pupils and staff learning about rights, through rights and for rights. Our support for Soccer aid back in July and whole school community work of litter picking, volunteering at charity shops and planting at Sale circle was mentioned as a high achievement. A big thank you to everyone involved and we are now working hard towards our journey to ‘Gold’.
